Do u know what I saw when I opened my curtain this morning? A hot-air balloon was there, just out side of my window! what a great surprise in early morning. It completely took my sleepiness away.

Hi what's up mate? How's ur weekend? Actually I'm struggling with finding an exciting topic since last week...so sorry.
Classes were harder than what I've expected, and we have just so much readings. Well I can't complain... I just need to work hard! They were however all very interesting and professors seemed all unique. Actually one of my tutors from Visual culture class is working at NGV, the museum which I loved(.. see my last Saturday update). How excitin!
Also today was " Clean up Australia Day", so I joined the cleaning up activity this afternoon. I felt much better after we finished cleaning up. Well, I think Australia is still dominated by throwaway culture..I'm always surprised the number of plastic bags I've got every time I came back from shopping. Also trash bins on campus are always flooded with all those plastic containers or paper bags from our lunch. People here are really conscious about saving water since Australia normally does not have much rain, but I feel like they are still less conscious about recycling or other environmental issues. Well I probably should better introduce Japanese " mottainai" concept to them.
today's pics are my amazing neighbors, Nathan and Samantha:) They were cooking for themselves!!! Well I've NEVER cooked since I came here....I'm too lazy. But I better start cooking, since food is pretty expensive on campus. But then I need to get some utensils first..lol!
Chao:)!xxx
